The Script are a three-piece Irish Music band from Dublin, Republic of Ireland. They are currently based in London after signing to RCA Label Group imprint Phonogenic.
Mark and Danny are former producers who worked with Rodney Jerkins, the Neptunes, Teddy Reilly and Dallas Austin. They were based in the US, but moved back to Dublin where they recruited Glen for their new band. Mark and Danny were also memebers of a failed Louis Walsh boyband "My Town." The band signed to Phonogenic in spring 2007.
Their debut single "We Cry" received 'Single of the Week' on RT

The Script continue to top album charts - 2008-08-25

Irish trio The Script have held on for a second week to top the album charts in Ireland and the UK with their self-titled debut. The band have also continued to enjoy success in the UK singles chart where they have moved up to the number two spot with their song \'The Man Who Can\'t Be Moved\'. They are being held off the number one spot by Kate Perry, while the single remains at number three in Ireland. The highest new entry of the week in the UK charts comes from Damon Albarn\'s Monkey project, which debuts at five with \'Journey To The West\', a \"pop opera\" performed entirely in Mandarin.
